Where previous offerings have focused on clothing solutions for urban settings, Autumn/Winter ‘25 differs slightly, with NINEpointNINE and Li-Ning creating a range of apparel and footwear to navigate outdoor trails and concrete jungles alike. Operating at the intersection of lifestyle and sports performance, the duo builds on its collaborative foundations while maintaining its shared DNA.
Step into a world where light guides you forward through time. As the sun rises and the moon sets, a never-ending cycle of light fuels your journey like a runner. Life moves in circles, vast and mysterious, waiting to be explored. It's a rhythm of endurance, discovery, and surprises. Sunlight brightens the day, moonlight graces the night, and light leads the way, encouraging us to keep moving and chase unseen horizons. Inspired by light, the collection reflects the beauty of the sky. Shiny finishes sparkle like stars, textured fabrics feel like the surface of planets, and adaptable designs transition smoothly from day to night.
The result is a range of outerwear, long-sleeved and short-sleeved tops, lined and unlined shorts, headwear, gloves, and socks designed to enhance the wearer’s trail experience. Garments are enhanced with technical features such as fabric darts, heat-sealed pockets with zipper closures, adjustable drawcords, and waterproof exteriors, where appropriate. Finishing touches include reflective accents for increased visibility and collaborative branding.
Innovation remains at the heart of their approach. Together with Cordura, they have developed a metallic-like ripstop nylon fabric, arriving in a sharp, dusty orange, which combines a unique look and hand feel with the character properties of ripstop, mainly excellent durability and lightweightness.
Accompanying the apparel, NINEpointNINE and Li-Ning put their name to the Dilu 2 and Dilu 2 Pro, a display of their technical prowess. The Dilu 2 is equipped with Li-Ning’s proprietary cushioning technology, BOOM and Light Foam Ultra, offering durability and prolonged comfort over longer distances. It has an anti-slip rubber outsole for increased traction across all terrains.
Using the latest technology and innovations, the Dilu 2 Pro has been redesigned to subvert the traditional feeling of a trail shoe, from the material to the details, to reflect its destiny on the trails. A lugged rubber outsole in combination with Li-Ning’s GCS (Ground Control System) provides excellent grip, regardless of the conditions underfoot. It features an integrated carbon plate and SUPER BOOM foam for increased propulsion and energy return.
